Privacy policy

Last updated November 4, 2026

This policy covers theryangreene.com, which is my personal site, under my company, Tempered Blue LLC (“I” and “me” below cover both of us). The products I link to have their own websites and their own policies.

What this site collects

  • Page views. I use PostHog to count visits: pages viewed, the site that sent you, and general device and location details worked out from your connection. It’s set up without cookies, and it doesn’t record your session or identify you by name or email. The counts sit in the same PostHog project as nolimitslab.com.
  • Your email sign-up. If you join my email list, I keep what you enter in the form, along with when you signed up and the IP address you signed up from. This is held in Mautic, the email list software I run at ssoserver.com. My emails also record when they’re opened, the IP address that opened them, and which links are clicked.
  • Server logs. My web hosting and Cloudflare, which sits in front of it, keep standard logs including your IP address, to run and protect the site.
  • Messages to me. If you email the address below, I keep what you send so I can answer it.

This site doesn’t set cookies of its own.

How it’s used

To run, protect and improve this site, send the emails you signed up for, answer your questions and meet legal obligations. I don’t sell your information.

Who handles it for me

  • PostHog (website analytics)
  • Cloudflare and my web hosting (running and protecting the site)
  • Amazon Simple Email Service (delivering email)

Get my emails

I’ll email you when I’ve built something new, learned something I think you can use, or have something to give away. The first email asks what you’re trying to build and what’s in the way. Hit reply: it comes to my own inbox.

Every email has an unsubscribe link. See my privacy policy.
